Jesse still wasn't sure about this place or the people in it. He didn't know anyone, didn't understand what the fuck was going on, and sure as hell didn't know how to get out of the compound now that he was there. He didn't really trust any of the people just yet - not that he ever really trusted that many people to begin with - but he was trying to get to know people. Maybe. Okay, so he wasn't doing much to try, but he was at least being civil and shit. That was good enough, right?
He ended up leaving the apartment building and got freaked out more than a little by the friendly grass and the creep trees. He tried his best to avoid any plants he could as he moved further into the compound. By the time he got to the lake, he was starting to think that he was on a bad trip or something. He heard the hiss from Joey as he moved closer, realizing that the lake was ocupado. He blinked a little and glanced away, almost uncertain if the chick was skinny dipping or not.
He held up his hand to his face to divert his gaze a bit more, clearing his throat a little as he caught sight of her jeans folded by the edge of the water. "Sorry," he muttered. "Didn't realize anyone was out here."
