Hooray for JJ! I'm so glad to see him enter the game. He's going to be a great addition to Austin and to the game in general! <3
Maizie could always run into JJ if he comes into the library or their paths might cross at the community center or something. If and when they do meet, she'd definitely be friendly and nosy curious about another new face in town!
Dani lives in JJ's home district, so there might be some crossover there. Even though we all know how grumpy she can be about new people, I expect that she wouldn't too awful. She's trying to be more lowkey but it's a work in progress. ;)
Bunny was probably raised with some type of Christianity, but I've never given it enough thought to pin down one or another. She'd be likely to attend a service, though, so maybe she'll run across JJ that way! I could totally see her as one of those church ladies who helps out at bake sales or something idk.
Kevin comes from a fairly religious family too, though his own relationship with his faith has fluctuated. Nevertheless he'd respect JJ for trying to set up a church in Austin, and I could see the two of them getting along.
Amanda doesn't really have any direct interactions with the local military installation, except for through Van Dale, but if JJ is ever at the Capitol for any reason they could conceivably meet. And if she knows about his intention of setting up a church, she'd definitely take an interest in it from a professional standpoint.
Pikachu is a generally friendly guy, so he and JJ probably wouldn't have too much trouble getting along. If they can manage to run into each other anywhere!
