Savannah and Rodeo - October 3, 8:30 pm
Rodeo's texts said the party would include carnival rides but she had no idea would be this extravagant. From previous conversations, Savannah understands just how important Adelaide is to him. Family is a precious thing these days, something to be held onto, and she can't fault Rodeo for his love and devotion to his sister. If anyone ever had any kind of doubts about just how deep that love extends, all they need to see is the magnificant carnival he's created to celebrate her homecoming.
The mood of the Dog Park is infectious and Savannah can't remember the last time she's felt so happy and light. The half jar of moonshine she's consumed is probably helping quite a lot, but even still, there's something to be said about the bright lights on the rides and the greasy food and its affect on her mood.
She is somehow convinced to jump around in the bouncy castle (something about everyone's surprise that it is still standing and might not be for much longer is a good enough reason in that moment) and upon exiting, shrugs off her sweater before attempting her best work to smooth down all the static electricity from her unruly hair. It's been a long time since she's done something so silly as that. The smile plastered on her face is actually starting to hurt a little.
Spotting Rodeo off a little ways she says goodbye to her jumping companions, and walks towards him. Once she's close enough that he'll hear her, she says, "Well don't you clean up nice?"
