The idea of this secret tearing her friendship apart with Lita is an unbearable one so Savannah lets out a sigh of relief at her words, comforted by the fact that no matter what happens out there in the messed up world, at least they have each other to fall back on. She knows it's hard for Lita to be vulnerable with anyone, so while the tears must mean she's really going through the wringer, Savannah can't help but feel glad that she's able to be here for Lita in her time of need.
"I'll always have your back, sweetheart. I hope you know that. This business I got with Rodeo and the Dog Park is important, but when it comes down to it, my family's always gonna come first. Don't ever doubt that you're a part of that, okay?" Savannah says, reaching out and putting her hand on top of Lita's.
Smiling a bit more now, she gives Lita's hand another pat before standing out and holding her hand out for her friend to take. "Well, see the thing is, I kind of have some pull around here," she says, fighting the urge to laugh. This isn't how she wanted to be in a position of power and 'power hungry' is just about the last words that describe her, but a quest for pork rinds is a harmless quest to flex her muscle at. "Let's go get you some pork rinds and then we can play that boardgame you kick my ass in every time. Everythin' is gonna be alright, honey. Maybe not tonight, but you'll get there and I'll be right here with you."
