Every pause, every moment that they're not moving - Nate's worry grows exponentially. In the garage waits Bunny. The plan has to be enacted but as time ticks through, the chances that things could go south and fast get more and more possible.
While Rodeo is on the phone, Nate is hypervigilant, his breath caught up until they're on the move again and he realizes he's been holding it for the duration of the call. The breath he recaptures is sour, bitter sweet. He's nervous and it isn't exertion that's forces sweat to bead on his brow.
Now that they have Addie, all he wants is to get to Bunny and get the fuck out of there.
There is no other response needed but a nod when Adelaide asks her question. Then the van Bunny is hiding in comes into view and he sprints for it. Opening the door he pours himself in for a second, obscured by tinted glass he needs a private moment with his sweetheart before they go running recklessly for freedom.
A kiss to Bunny's cheek with a dimple dappled smile of relief that she's there but they're not out of the shit yet though.
