Any effort to just be nice and casual about this were definitely being thrown out the window. This was what she got for attempting to venture out on her own. Prior to Austin, Penelope had Lily by her side. And now that her friend was dead, she was trying to learn how to do this on her own. Clearly, she was royally failing.
