There is no need to hide anything from Rodeo, at least most of it, and that is the beauty of their friendship. They have been through pretty much everything together since they were old enough to be let outside without supervision - as decided by their loving parents and not those who actually care - and they know each other inside and out. Which is why Sarge has all kinds of worries about where this conversation is heading, with big words like trust coming up, and he would flat out refuse to play any role beyond "guy standing right next to Rodeo, glaring" if it was any other situation.
But this isn't any other situation, things are bad, and they both know he wont say no, no matter what.
Because it's Addie, and all recent events and complications aside, nothing has changed the simple fact that Sarge would gladly die to protect both of the siblings. So there is that. No matter how much he doesn't like the idea of Rodeo doing something crazy alone, while Sarge is out there keeping some fucking pigs distracted, he will most likely do it. No. He will definitely do it.
"So, you gonna turn invisible and fly right into the Capitol? Get some help from the Avengers? Call the X-Men, Captain America's a fuckin' asshole." Sarge reaches for the glass and drinks, wondering how much he'll have to drink to poison his system. Because it seems like the limit seems to be always this much out of reach, not that he actively tries, but there is a lot more drinking then there used to be. "I ain't sayin' I don't want to get 'em out, but if you're goin' crazy I'm gonna have to take you out, man."
