He looked skeptical at her explanation of what had gone on afterwards. “Sounds like a shit situation,” he noted. “Things are volatile here,” he added. Sure seemed like it, anyway. Like civilization had decided to go on, just with a whole lot of in-fighting to keep everyone on their toes. “You feel like this place and you in particular are safe, even with all of this going down around you?”
