Who: Natasha and Erik
What: Run-ins ftw
When: morning
Where: junkyard
Natasha was glad to see that people were responding rather positively to the idea of a bar opening up in the city. It seemed to offer a place of release, and so she wanted to live up to the expectations. Thankfully, some were able to make deals with her to trade tools and supplies for what little bit of food she had brought into the city with her. She didn't mind parting with some of it if it meant she could get the bar together soon. She didn't want to waste time. The sooner the bar was put together and working, the sooner she could start garnering enough business to also help her survive and work in peace. Or, well, as much peace as this city could offer.
Still, there were plenty of things she needed for both the bar and her lab. Although she did try to find supplies at some pet stores and hardware stores, she knew that those were always the first places people would go to when in need. What she really should be doing was heading to the junkyard. Too many times people throw things away without realizing the true value of them.
So at the junkyard, Natasha had an old grocery cart with her that she planned to use to drag the supplies back to the Chestnut Tree. It already contained a few metal grates, some spark plugs, and long-tube headers. But that was after some digging and trying to think up creative ways of piecing these items together to build what she actually needed in her lab.
Leaving her cart aside, Natasha was already rather high up, sitting on the edge of what used to be a truck's bed when she reached over to try to grab a catalytic converter. She really wasn't sure if she wanted it, but grabbing it made some smaller items loosen up and fall down the pile. Looking over to where it would land, she noticed a man. "Heads up!" she called to him, hoping to catch his attention before it hit him.
