Though Isaac lost his own family before he even arrived at the Capitol, he knows that ever since the uprising people have been holding out hope for reuniting with their loved ones. As time passes by, these reuniting become rarer and rarer but there are always stories like these that defy the odds. If her brother weren't responsible for murdering cops and capitol workers alike while raiding supply trucks the Hellhounds have no right to, well, Isaac would have been happy about her finding her brother. Unfortunately this isn't the case at all.
"Did you know the letters were coming from your brother or did you only find out once you met your pen pal face-to-face?" Isaac asks. Something seems just slightly off about the story but he can't pinpoint just what. Maybe it is the fact that he has no hope of finding his loved ones anymore but he can't imagine writing letters to a mysterious person and just hoping for the best. There is also the fact that people can be just as dangerous as the biters these days. "Did you go to meet him alone?"
A frown forms on Isaac's face as well at the mention of Addie's husband. He would have thought that Lansing would be here, at least to keep their child from being in jail. There must be something keeping him from being here, but Isaac honestly has no idea what that is. "I'm sorry, Addie, I don't know. The moment I hear anything I'll let you know, okay?" He says, making a mental note to look into that once he leaves here.
