Ever since his partner had died, Theodore had steadfastly refused to work with another detective on a case. It was stubborn. It was stupid. It was going to get him in a serious jam one day. But, to be fair, he was now in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, so technically he was living inside a serious jam all of the time (and not the good kind of jam one puts on a slice of bread). So, when he heard the voices, he decided that he didn’t need backup for this.
He’d just stay quiet.
Approaching the house, Theo listened in on their conversation as he found a slightly opened window to peer through. He made certain that they wouldn’t be able to see him if they looked his way. His brows furrowed slightly as he heard the name “Cotulla”. They were from out of town. Guessed he did hit the jackpot. He might have just single-handedly found the Panther crew.
