2/ this is excessive srsly
"You know, you don't gotta do what he says," Rodeo says, arching his brows and looking over his shoulder towards the patrolman standing behind him, whose gun is still pointed at his head. "You're your own man. You can do what you want. You don't gotta die this way."
"Fuck you," the private snarls, and he lowers his gun and takes a set of handcuffs off his belt. Rodeo's eyes flick down to them, and sure enough, he feels his adrenaline spike at the sight of them. "Put your hands behind your back."
"Nah," Rodeo says, turning forward again, his hands still held up in front of him.
"Hey," the patrolman behind Lita snaps, yanking on her hair to tip her head back. His other hand closes around the front of her throat, squeezing enough to restrict her air. "Put your hands behind your back or I swear to god, I'll fuck this bitch right in front of you."
That does it.
Rodeo laughs. He can't help it. The sound is harsh and quick, and the next second he turns to the patrolman holding Lita by the throat and spits in his face. The pig behind him lifts his gun back up, but before he can bring it back to Rodeo's head he's grabbing the private's arm, twisting it sharply so that when the pig pulls the trigger the bullet blasts past Rodeo's shoulder and hits one of the three patrolmen near the door in the forehead. The bullet leaves Rodeo's ear ringing, but even that ain't enough to drown out the sound of the snap as Rodeo breaks the private's arm. He rips the gun from the pig's hand, yanks him forward by the grip on his snapped arm, lifts the barrel to the private's face and fires the Glock directly into his eye socket. Blood and tissue spray from the back of his head. Rodeo tosses him down, turns the gun on the pig behind Lita and fires two shots into the man's temple. All of it takes only a few quick seconds, and by the time the other patrolmen have processed what's happening three of them are already dead.
Unfortunately, Rodeo knows they're gonna catch up eventually. Rodeo drops the gun before they start firing, tossing it down on the ground between him and the two remaining patrolmen, putting his hands back up before either of them even have the presence of mind to fire off a shot. He shifts so he's standing in front of Lita, bloodlust still burning in his eyes.
"Come on, fucker," he snarls at McCarrick. "You want me, come take me."
McCarrick looks pissed, but he also looks mighty wary. He doesn't want to meet the Dog King's blade again. He keeps his gun trained on Rodeo, but he looks to the last remaining Private at his side. "Get the bitch," he says. Rodeo's shoulders tense, and he shakes his head in warning, eyeing the private who seems reluctant to approach but follows orders anyway. While the private inches closer to Lita, McCarrick starts moving forward too, gun still aimed at Rodeo's face while the other hand takes his handcuffs from his belt. Rodeo rolls his eyes and holds his wrists out in front of him, biting back another mad laugh.
"C'mon, shithead. I'll even make it easy for you. C'mon, try it."
The private is circling around, giving a wide berth around the Dog King as he attempts to get close to Lita. McCarrick closes in, and he keeps his gun pointed in Rodeo's face as he reaches his free hand for his wrists. Rodeo feels the cold metal of the cuff touch one of his wrists, and that's when he moves-- he twists to the side so the gun is no longer in his face, grabs McCarrick by the wrist, leans in and smashes his forehead into McCarrick's nose. The Lieutenant howls in pain and Rodeo throws his elbow up, crashing it into McCarrick's face, his moves faster than the other man's trigger finger so that by the time he's stunned him with the two blows it's easy to snatch the gun from his hand. Rodeo grabs McCarrick by the throat, holding him as he twists around to point the gun at the private still trying to close in on Lita. He shoots the fucker, but his haste makes his shot less than accurate so that the bullet hits the private in the mouth. It blows off his jaw but it doesn't kill him, and the man falls to the ground gurgling screams. Rodeo twists the gun back on McCarrick, but when he pulls the trigger it doesn't fire.
