Nadia & OPEN. [OOC: Sorry for the delay, everyone! If anyone wants a thread with Nadia, feel free to just tag in and start a new sub-thread here set anytime during the party, timejumping if necessary, etc. Also feel free to thread amongst yourselves if you want some merry birthday party interactions even if it doesn't involve her, too! I don't wanna hog people <33]
Thunder-struck, a sudden tirade of Portuguese expletives flies past her lips as she stares at the people who have come creeping out of the woodwork, sauntering over from another stadium entrance like some arriving football team. "What the hell did you do?" she demands of Nate, but she's laughing. Joy bubbles up at the combined sight of everyone she considers friends, all gathered in one place, plus some extra—
She's missed crowds. She has well and truly missed crowds, even if this is a small one compared to the boisterous chaos of the Dog Park's bonfire.
Nadia settles into the improvised, jury-rigged birthday party, feeling like a proper hostess for the first time in a very, very long time, drifting from guest to guest. Antón and Marina receive an especially vehement greeting, a "I just left you at the library! How could you not tell me?", but she calms down in time to give a more polite greeting to Marina's coterie of Hellhounds. An intimidating bunch, but she'd also seen them relaxed and unstrung and merry on their own home turf, and that diminishes their daunting image somewhat. Bunny, Olivia, and Maizie also merit especial attention.
But mostly, she's mixing cocktails and picking away at the (relatively suspect) feijoada, and laughing, and chatting to the guests. Occasionally one will come up to her for a one-on-one chat.
