When the door opened, she looked up at the man she hadn't seen before. If she'd been standing a little tall a moment ago, she'd relaxed. Doubly so at seeing the dog. Dogs had good judgment in character. Well, they did usually. He was smaller than he'd imagined, but did have the stringy look of ten if she squinted. He had the hair anyway. It took her a moment to answer his question, because she was oddly staring at him, until she blinked. The dog running around her legs was mostly ignored until it jumped a little. Then she reached down to let it smell her and proceeded to scratch it behind the ears.
"You said it correctly. Most people trip over it or just give up or say the first couple of syllables." She was clearly impressed. "You can call me Sofia, though. I've come to see the beginnings of your TARDIS, Doctor," she teased. "You know, I've always wanted a sonic screwdriver too." Maybe she was getting ahead of herself, but that looked like it'd be easier to build than a full on Time And Relative Dimension In Space. "Have you made much progress?"
