“I have some water,” Babs reconfirmed, filing the glass of water up and pushing it towards the other girl. The glass was old, it had a little crack on the lip. But it was clean, and Babs was starting to feel very attached to the idea of being clean. It would leave soon enough, but right then she reveled in it.
When Olivia asked about bleach, Olivia laughed out loud, she actually snorted a little in her burst. She covered her mouth, swallowed, and then spoke. “No, I don’t use bleach on an open wound. It’s for cleaning the floor and equipment, and usually it’s diluted. Straight bleach isn’t overly safe,” she said, quirking a brow. “Please tell me you’ve never used bleach for a wound. I had a dumbass friend in school who tried to use an IV at his dad’s office to get coffee in his veins. Just- don’t assume anything about medicine. Just ask me, please. I’ll teach you first aid if you want.”
