Adelaide smiles down at Charlie in mirror of Karen, and she laughs when he opens his mouth and begins a snuffly little baby snore, sprawled in the stroller as comfortable as if this was his own bedroom. The snore reminds Adelaide of her brother, but she's plenty used to keeping thoughts like that to herself, and she moves on without missing a beat.
"Well I think of the two of us, he's having the better time, but I'm doing alright myself," Adelaide replies amusedly. She moves aside a bit, gestures Karen on so she can tell Hannie how she'd like her cup made up. When she's ordered, Addie carries on. "I won't lie, I'm a little bit itchy for something to do to make myself useful again, but Rob just won't hear of me going back over to the hospital," she says, easy like she's got time to chat. "Can't blame him for that, though, with all those girls," she adds, shaking her head.
