"Someone on the net thing did," she said, though really why was she trusting them? Maybe because there was sod all to gain by not telling her if she'd found her bloke. "And what you're saying is if he went into the tunnels he's dead already?" she asked. Not that he would, why would anyone if they had a choice? "Maybe I'll check the Dog Park though, later, tomorrow," she shrugged. She couldn't see him there either surrounded by a bunch of biker types? That really wasn't his style.
"He wasn't picky before," she said, speeding up a bit to catch up with him, "We used to crash on people's floor's all over the country. Said he could still handle it because he'd done it all his life." She smiled at the memory. It was starting to bother her how she only ever did that when she thought about him. Because while, yeah she was a ball of anger and pent up rage a lot of the time she'd also been really fucking happy. But that felt like a million years ago now.
"I think I need to get higher," she said, suddenly walking faster towards the nearest possibly climbable tree. "Look for signs of life, yeah? Maybe someone built a fire?" Yeah somebody, not him. They could find any body and she was going to pretend she wasn't achingly disappointed by that fact. "And if that doesn't work..." she turned back to glance at him. "Guess I'm just gonna have to start looking further afield, aren't I?"
