Ezra had left most of his supplies in a safe place, knowing carrying it all around wasn't going to be efficient for a person-hunt. He'd also managed to make himself a new weapon, even if he still missed his splitting maul. But a nail bat was okay for now, and he still had the straight razor he'd gotten from the shop where he'd met Mort, too.
He was silent as he got closer, a habit he still slipped into whether it was deliberate or not. He spotted her up ahead, and didn't quite know how to get her attention. He didn't want to startle her. Not knowing if she had a gun and would be jumpy enough to shoot first - something he had most definitely seen in the past - he didn't make more noise to alert her.
Which left his voice. His permenantly hoarse voice. He got close enough that he wouldn't need to shout, and spoke. "...here to search for people."
