Bunnate
"Maybe things will bloom," Bunny repeated, smiling again already. She liked the turn of phrase Nate had chosen, because it was what she hoped for too. The things she'd learned about the Dog Park tonight were still a little jumbled up in her mind -- partly the moonshine, no doubt, but also because these new facts just need to lay a while before she could really know where she stood in relation to them. There were good things here. And if the bad could be turned aside and left behind, this would be a mighty nice place to live.
Stretching her neck, Bunny pressed a kiss to the underside of Nate's jaw, which she could just find in the darkness of the tent. "I would sure like it if they would. All I want's to be with you and Bode, too, to find some place safe and sound to build our future and our family." She'd confided to him about her misgiving, yes, but Bunny hadn't written off the future entirely. Though she might hold on to one or two worries, she wasn't the type of girl to give up hoping.
"Let me know what Bode says to you. We've got time to decide. All the time we need."
