Settling in to lean against Nate’s side, Bunny finally cast her eyes around the camp, drinking in everything she could see from where they were standing. The wide open roof of the sky stretched above, and all around the camp’s activity cocooned them with its comfortable hum. It was no wonder to her that Bode had taken this as his home, or that Nate preferred the Park to the silent, sober Capitol. The community here was alive, and it seemed entirely possible that, if she took her boots off, she would be able to feel its pulse in the ground under her bare feet.
"I'd say he painted a pretty faithful picture," she agreed, turning her attention back to her companions now that she’d had a chance to survey their surroundings. Bunny slipped an arm around Nate's waist and smiled up at him, adding, "Caught the beauty of the place nicely. Maybe mentioned a shenanigan or two, as well."
The prospect of getting a peek at the Park through Bode’s eyes sounded like a good idea to her, and so she nodded at the suggestion. Nadia must be anxious to meet the person she’d come out to see, though, and so Bunny turned a glance in her direction to see how the other woman felt. “How does a tour sound to you?”
