Savannah had known Theo long enough to not be bothered by his neutral tone and could actually detect the influx of something. It made her feel better in a weird way, though she couldn't be sure just why. She pulled back slightly from their hug, grabbed his arm and moved them further into the Oval Office. It was weird to just lingering near the entrance and honestly, she didn't want anyone any of the other shelter survivor's peeking around the corner at them. She'd come up here for privacy, after all.
Though they'd moved, Savannah reazlied she was no where near done with the hugging thing. He'd been gone for two months and now she had, well, all kinds of hell on her doorstep. The hugging was good and she needed more of it.
"Pause on all that, okay? I just--" She said, moving back towards him and wrapping her arms around his waist again. "Can we just do this for a little while longer?" She asked, resting her forehead on his chest. She was trying so hard to hold it all together and not show the cracks to all the survivors at LBJ but she didn't feel the obligation when it came to Theo. She just needed a couple minutes to not act like everything was perfectly fine.
It was probably a good five minutes before Savannah spoke again. "Thanks for coming. I'm glad you made it back to Austin. Thing's have been... well, not great. I--Theo. Everything is all fucked up."
