"Back to the Capitol, my place, for now," she answered him, using her weight as a counterbalance for helping him to his feet. When he started to tip forward, she stepped forward and practically hugged him to tip him backwards enough that he didn't nose dive into the ground.
"A plane crash had to be scary as hell, but you survived, right? That's supposed to make you stronger. And yeah, sorry about the cold hands. It'll be fine," she assured him as she started them slowly in the direction she'd come from.
She got his bag for him, and put it around her wrist, sliding one arm around his middle as she ducked under his arm. "Where were you flying from? Tell me about it," she encouraged, wanting him to focus on something while they walked.
