As a scout, Olivia was all too aware of just how quickly things ran out as the days went past. While she indulged in the occasional food reminiscing posts that went up on the Freenet with a startling regularity, she'd learned to not become attached to any specific thing. She was already concerned about what Erik would do once the world ran out of his beloved Corn Nuts.
"If you say so," she replied, smiling to herself as she watched him fix up her headphones. It was cool, watching people in their element. It was part of the reason why she'd always been drawn to athletics. If she ever had a chance to witness any of the medical stuff at the hospital firsthand, she'd feel the same way. Erik was doing things she couldn't even begin to understand.
"Exactly. Like, I don't even know what to do anymore. I try to help out some, wherever the Head of Resources needs us, but it's like. Being cooped up inside is driving me crazy, so you're totally right. It's nice to be out, even if it's just for a little while." She was grateful for the Library, of course she was, but she couldn't be in one place all day. She didn't know how Maizie could stand it.
"Do you go out in Austin a lot?" she asked then, curious.
