Isaac was happy to note that the woman in front of him seemed to be relaxing a little bit as well. It would seriously be great if he could not get in a fight tonight, so he was doing all he could to keep the situation under control. He really should have known better than to think Clover would come out to see him, but he had to try.
"She is pretty, but no, I'm not her boyfriend." Even under different circumstances, Isaac didn't think they'd work as a couple. Clover was up in the clouds (sometimes literally) and Isaac believed in rules and things he could see and touch. Fundamental differences like that just seemed like a recipe for disaster.
