Isaac was equally parts disturbed and saddened by the girl's words. Sometimes it felt like no one was in his corner at the Capitol, especially now that he was fraternizing with the 'enemy', but at least he knew he was part of a greater community and when push came to shove, he wasn't alone.
Her teeth, unnaturally white in comparison to the rest of her dirty appearance, was startling as well but he hoped the smile was a good sign. She wasn't stabbing him yet, which was good in his books. He let his body relax slightly, at least enough to make it look like he felt at ease around her, hoping that if he seemed more calm then she wouldn't feel threatened. He may not have experience with junkies but he interacted with more than enough criminals during his career to know some tactics to reassure them.
"Her name's Clover. She has red hair. Do you know her?"
