Natasha had some unfortunate unforeseen setbacks to The Chestnut Tree. She had been hoping to open it at the beginning of July, but not it seemed to be ready for the beginning of August. A month off, but at least it was starting to come together. That pesky roof and the rooms needed more work than she had anticipated.
She was sweeping up what was left of the debris when she heard Erik knock at her door. Setting down the broom against the bar, Natasha called out to him to show she heard the knock, before heading over to the back to let him in with the jukebox.
Natasha smiled at him as Erik lowered the new jukebox. "Is it, now?" she asked, eyeing the old machine. It didn't look like much, but she knew that if anyone could fix it, it'd be Erik. Natasha had already padded the walls to hopefully not attract any of the zombies with the noise patrons would naturally make at her bar. So seeing the jukebox would add music and fun to the quiet place, Natasha was beyond excited for it.
Waving off his apology, she said, "Nah, you're not interrupting anything. Just finishing everything up to open the bar this Saturday. Thanks for dropping this by...and for fixing it. What do I owe you?"
Natasha held the door open for Erik as he wheeled it down on a hand trolly. "I haven't eaten yet, have you?"
