The chime of the bell alerted him instantly. Though, he came from the back and made sure the door was secure and tightly closed, Vincent didn't believe there was any point to really look any further than he did when searching the front part of the small store. There was nothing of much worry. He had made himself comfortable; setting out his bedding, getting some of his food prepared- and then that's when he heard the bell as loud as a siren would have gone off.
Everything was quickly packed back together- slowly, without making a single noise to alert whoever (or whatever) had wandered into the store.
Things that followed after, the noises happened one after the other, it sent several chills down his spine and made his entire body tense with fear. Wouldn't be long before this place could be swarming with the undead. The more noises that is being made, the more those things will come like a dinner bell went off. Vincent looked through the small hole of the door and out toward the main part of the store, seeing nothing, but a young woman sliding her way over the counter. Was she alone? Was she with anyone? The only handgun he had on him was ready as it ever will be for his way out of here if a fight was to break out.
He slowly made his way up and through the small aisles, frantic hazel eyes looking everywhere for anyone to pop out and attack, and when nothing had happened, he glanced out quickly toward the opening windows before moving closer to where the woman had disappeared behind. "Do you not realize all the racket you are making could have the both of us dead in seconds?" His tone was soft, loud enough for her ears to hear.
