JP popped the rest of his donut half in his mouth and chewed thoughtfully as he flipped the second dough ball. Part of him didn't want to bother with glazing his creations out of sheer laziness, but he had to admit curiosity. Honey was sweet, sure, but then so were Krispy Kremes. Obviously glazing them with honey wouldn't quite emulate the perfection that had been the Krispy Kreme donut, but he was sure some people had a larger sweet tooth than others did. It was worth, at the very least, a try.
"Diplomatic. I like it." He grinned broadly. "It certainly couldn't hurt to drizzle them with honey." The end of the world had a distinct lack of sugar. They may as well give the people what they wanted. Or at least test it out and see if it was worth the extra honey. He flipped the second donut onto the towel and set about looking for another, smaller pan to heat up the honey. That was the tricky part about honey--it lasts for nearly the end of time, but crystalization makes it sort of difficult to work with. Not that JP was complaining. He'd take any sugar he could get.
"So," he began as he started scooping a few spoonfuls of crystalized honey into a small sauce pan, "how'd you end up at UMCB, because I'm sure it wasn't simply to become my late-night-taste-tester."
