For a moment Sarge almost tells her just what exactly they thought about the person behind those letters, but then it dawns on him that they were really saying all those things about Addie and his ears turn a little red. Because that is no way he wants anyone to talk about her and he would knock out any guy that did such a thing. Maybe punching himself is not quite an option yet, but he is definitely berating himself for all the quite unfriendly things he said and thought about Addie before he knew that it was her. "absolutely terrifying..." he says and he almost called her princess like he used to about four hundred years ago back in their corner of the boondocks, but it's hardly appropriate now and so there is just a bit of silence to point out that something belonged there and now doesn't anymore.
The prospect doesn't exactly have an easy life in the Dog Park, none of them do, and it never quite ceases to amuse Sarge when they are so eager to earn approval and so absolutely easy to intimidate.
"Hey, think you forgot somethin', idiot." It's not quite about and it doesn't have to be because the guy that was just about to inspect the tire cringes and looks back at Sarge.
Patiently waiting with his arms crossed and his feet apart just slightly Sarge glares until he can tell there is a light bulb going off and the prospect scrambles to retrieve the steaks. With a grunt Sarge grabs them and points back at the SUV. "Better get to it while he's still in a good mood."
Personally Sarge would prefer to cram them all into Rodeo's trailer because the fire is never a very quiet place and there will be far too many people around for his liking, it's hard enough to reconcile the person he is for everyone else and the one Rodeo knows, with both of them here it might be too much to handle all at once. But he just stands there, watching Addie intently, and waiting for her to make a decision.
