Noticing the rustle of movement and activity at the front door, Nadia tucked away the book she'd been reading (any opportunity to continue practicing her English) and rose, waiting patiently for them to finish. Once the two visitors were signed in and officially into the library, she stepped forward to meet what she assumed were her medics -- and they seemed close, with the unthinking familiarity and warmth that came from true friendship. It brightened her to see it. Nadia missed that sort of friendly intimacy, the sensation of someone's arm around her in a way that wasn't just propping her up.
But Nadia summoned up a bright smile, a sweep of the hand in greeting. "Hi! I'm Nadia. You must be doctors Singh and Castillo, yes? I've reserved one of the reading rooms, just so I don't bother everyone in the residential rooms with my fussing over this thing."
There was still the slightest hint of her favouring one foot out of instinct, but for the most part, she didn't move as one injured anymore -- less the irritably limping creature she'd been a month before.
She gave them both the once-over. One of them was about as she'd expected, but the other... "You look a little young to be a doctor," she said to Josh, but the tug at the corner of her mouth revealed that it was friendly, not critical.
