"Sometimes I don't know how I can stand so many people either." Olivia didn't mind if any of the eight roommates overheard her, either. It was pretty much common knowledge around the LBJ Library that people got all up in each other's business most of the time. That was why Day did what she did, anyway, her and her team. "Maizie's got it easy by comparison with just Gray and 'Vannah in the Oval Office, but you've got us beat with your trailer. I guess we make do well enough most of the time, though. It's just part of life here. But it can get a little..." She pulled a face as they walked through the exhibit's remnants, leading them through the hallways and into another room.
"We have some classes here, too. Gray teaches a history class, and if you've got anything to lecture on you can teach on it." Olivia gestured to them just as Josh gave him that look of his that made her suddenly realize she'd accidentally ventured into intimate territory with him. Oops. She flashed an apologetic smile at him, keeping her hand where he'd placed it as they continued around the library.
And since she'd brought it up, and Josh had added more about what he'd done to help, Olivia couldn't help but wonder if Gray would continue to teach after he got home. (If he got home.) Josh made it sound like it was a pretty good possibility, though, so she just wrinkled her nose at what he'd said about the patched wounds. "That is weird," she said, blushing slightly at Josh's reprimand. "And I don't -- think you're Superman. I just think it's, you know. You actually learned something from college."
She hoped no one else could hear the unspoken comparison to herself and her lack of usable skills.
