Gray & Savannah
Savannah just watched the whole exchange between Gray and the other kid, feeling like she'd been punched in the gut. She put love and affection into that bag, making the effort to pack some of his favorite books and clothes hoping it would make his time here easier, and there he was just giving it away.
And when he looked back at her, that look in his eyes.... well, she'd never seen anything like that before in him. If looks could kill, she'd probably be on her way to an early grave.
"You didn't have to go givin' it away. I could have just brought i back home if you didn't want it," she said, trying hard not to let her frustration show. This whole situation was a mess. It was obvious that Gray didn't want her here in the first place and now that she was in front of him, there was no reassurance in seeing him standing there bruised and battered, but still alive (for the time being).
