Maizie and Rodeo
It was the kid that pulled her heart strings. It was the kid that made everything stick out and make this all worthwhile for Teagan Morgan. Didn't matter that she wasn't a little girl, that teenager over there was a child, a girl that still had parents that loved her, a girl that still loved and needed the parents in this world. Gray still had days left in his quarantine. She couldn't imagine what it would be like for her right now. There was no one in this camp right now that was having as hard a time as that girl.
Maizie Lou Wolfe.
There also weren't a lot of things that Teagan was unsure about. She was usually a firecracker. The sort that lit up at the wick and burst out colorful and sharpthis time she was cautious. For awhile she stayed back, observing the visitors and wondering if she should say anything at all to any one of them.
Finally she put her hair back, concealed her gun with her leather cut and moved over to the worrying daughter of Gray Wolfe.
"Howdy." she said in as friendly a way as she could get it out. If anything it came out flat and hesitant. She'd brought over a bottle of water and this was offered without any words. It was extended out for the girl to take if she wanted. "I'm Teagan. You're Maizie, right?"
