Gray & Savannah
Savannah had figured Gray wouldn't be happy that she, Maizie and Day were there to see him. He'd kept trying to tell her to just wait it out, but even before she knew he was bit, there was no way in hell that she was going to do that. She'd needed to see him and talk to him and know that he was going to be okay. But when she found out about the bite? It was a damn miracle she hadn't stormed the Dog Park that night. How dare he try and keep her away when there was a chance he could die. How could he think it would be better for her to not have the chance to say goodbye? How could it be better for her to not be able to tell him face-to-face that she loved him?
So, yeah, she knew he was going to be mad. It didn't make it any easier to see, though. Just one look at him, seeing him so beat up, and then hearing his voice... she couldn't stop the tears welling up in her eyes. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, doing her best to put a stop to that before it really started, and then looked at him again.
"Grayson... baby." She really didn't know what to say now that she was in front of him. So instead she shrugged off the bag from her shoulder and used her other hand to motion to it, focusing on that instead of the obvious topic they should be discussing. "I brought you some clothes and a couple of the books that were on your side of the bed. Figured you would need something to read."
