Vic & Day
Given the circumstances of the whole thing, especially that zombie bite Wolfe had on him when Rodeo hauled his ass into the Dog Park, it only makes sense that a bunch of outsiders would be visiting with the intention of potentially paying their last respects. That doesn't mean Vic has to like it. And as Enforcer, he'd be remiss if he didn't check out the newcomers and make sure they didn't pose a threat to the Dogs' way of life.
He's had a couple of interactions with the woman who calls herself the Library's head of security. All out on the streets on Austin, all of them entirely unpleasant. And logically, Vic can understand why she ain't too keen on him or any of the other Dogs. It's not like him rolling a Capitol supply truck, the first time they'd come across each other, had looked especially great. But Vic figured she didn't need to know the details of the situation and ought to be happy to leave it at that.
Vic has the presence of mind and the understanding to wait until the women have checked in on their man before he walks over to size them up face-to-face. Wolfe's old lady is a tiny little thing, his daughter a couple inches taller. Day's closer to his height. "How're you finding our part of town?" And then, just to be polite, he offers his hand for her to shake.
