All Things Being the Same Who: Dr. Singh and Nate Where: UMCB What: Taking care of (malnutrition) business and working overtime. Lita makes sure Nate's keeping to his eating and physical regimen and Nate does some covert investigative journalism. When: 6/30/2018, afternoon
The last time Lita had seen Nathaniel Quinn, he had looked like slightly warmed over dog shit. When he had been brought in he had been suffering from malnutrition, exhaustion, and dehydration so she wasn't sure he'd even remember she'd provided him with medical care.
It didn't matter to Lita one way or another. She wasn't the type of doctor that got touchy-feely with her patients. They came in, she did her job and if she did it well enough, she didn't have to see them ever again. Quick and dirty and no strings attached is how Dr. Singh liked to do things; it's served her well so far and she saw no reason to change that now. If it wasn't broke, why fix it?
She entered Mr. Quinn's exam room, her pace quick and her tone brusque. He was her last patient after a long overnighter and she was more than eager to get some food and get to sleep.
"So, how are we feeling today, Mr. Quinn?" Lita asks, looking at his chart and not at him. She knows the basics: 35 year old male, 6’1, good teeth, in otherwise good shape besides the wear and tear from being on the road so long. She suspected he'd bounce back just fine...physically that is.
