The Park could get loud - that wasn't a secret. There was always noise. There were always some rabblergetting drunk and having a hoot buzz . The wall of the Dog Park kept the danger out but it also kept all that commotion in. It wasn't always the choicest place for T to get her thoughts in order and these days she had a storm of thoughts darkening behind her eyes.
Some days Teagan just needed out. Some days she needed to stretch her legs, her mind and just ride.
It was a dangerous thing she did, going out alone...but she couldn't be bothered with some high strung prospect on her ass, looking at her for constant approval or even another patched member with their concern. One of the biggest draws for her to stay at the Dog Park was that freedom to be who she was going to be and if that meant that she was on a constant search for an outlet then she was going to take it.
Today was fairly quiet. There weren't too many geeks out roaming and she wondered if it was the heat that was keeping the numbers from swarming too high. It kept her alert because if they weren't lurking around then that meant they were somewhere and she didn't want to get circled in and surrounded on her bike.
The focus on her surroundings is what has her noticing the truck in the parking lot. Now, a truck with its hood up is nothing new but she notices the heat waves dancing up from the engine. Eyes narrow as she gets in closer. This auto parts store is the Dogs and Teagan won't take kindly to just anyone helping themselves to the parts inside. She circles the lot in much the same way Jo had before parking and then she parks near the truck, kickstand down and she climbs off, weapon drawn immediately. She glances into the car first, sees what there might be to take but there is not much in the need category - so far as she can see outright. There is stuff she can't get to, packs of things that look interesting but she won't be rummaging through while there's an unknown in the store.
Teagan turns back to her bike and to the packs strapped to it and takes out two caltrops and places them against the wheels of the truck. Just in case.
The store is dark. She'd be a fool to rush in there. No. She'll wait outside. She pushes her bike against the store and then the blonde takes a defensive position to the side of the door so that neither she nor her bike can get picked off from inside. She calls out "Is everything okay?" because she thinks it’s a man. Of course she does. She also thinks that the sound of her womanly voice will draw them out. After all, a woman can't be much of a threat.
