"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to take me to bed again," Savannah said, despite the fact that they were already in the bed. It was certainly a more polite way fo saying they might go at it again, which was what she was getting at.
Once the cards were delt out, she picked up her pile and straightened out the cards until they were in a neat stack before looking over at Gray.
"You ready to start, babycakes?" Before the apocalypse, Savannah hadn't been all that fond of card games. She was guilty of watching too much TV and reading things on the internet. Every so often she sometimes played Solitaire on her iPad, but that was only during the really boring meetings. Now, though, she had learned to appreciate these simple ways of passing the time. And it made Gray happy, so what else could she really ask for?
