Lazy mornings with Gray were her favorite, even before the zombies and apocalypse stuff happened. Hitting pause on the real world and existing in their own little space, just the two of them, felt really good. And necessary, especially given how she'd been feeling a bit neglected lately with Gray throwing himself so into his work. She knew his role at the Library was important but that didn't mean she could fall off his priority list.
But this morning they were having was practically perfect. After some very satisfying activities, they'd just cuddled in bed for a while before Gray went for the deck of cards. Taking the deck from him and extracting the cards from the box, she easily began to shuffle. "Nothin' too complicated. Still can't think entirely straight," she said with a laugh. "Maybe Go Fish? War? Your choice, babycakes."
