"He knows I'm interested, but I haven't really presented it as a definite, 'I want to make this happen' thing. So." Josh shrugged. "I'll need to talk to him about it again, me and Princess, and see if we can get something going. Probably not right away, with everything a little crazier than usual, but I don't see why he wouldn't be open to the idea. So many people could benefit from fresh fruits and vegetables."
Even though Josh had never mentioned the idea as anything more than a passing thought, he didn't think Rodeo would say no. They just needed to plan it right and as long as enough people were interested, Josh could easily head over to the UTexas library and figure out how to build and run a very basic victory garden. He leaned over to check on the rice and vegetables. "Just a few more minutes," he guessed.
