"How's that worked out for you? You seem functional. You worked out how to deal with the world around you on an effective level?" she asked. She'd met people with that diagnosis before. Some soldiers, even. They had their uses, as people, and so long as they knew the score and how to play the game without fucking themselves over - which often meant gearing themselves toward the same goals of people around them - then they weren't bad to have around at all, so long as you could hack it.
