Two (6 left; 3 in the shop, 3 outside, 1 stopped vehicles)
Voices echoing, bouncing. Duggar was gone and his men weren’t running. Teagan had hoped they’d turn yellow and flee. Instead they were following this through and now that they knew she had a role in their leaders murder. Now she had astake in this. Her mission was to kill as many of the men as she could - all of them would be even better.
Her back to the brick she waited, listened. She heard a few of the other gang running toward her and she braced herself for more action but instead of getting to where she was in the alley, she heard the dulcet sound of bells ringing as they entered the barber shop.
The scope of the noise had gone from ‘Apocolyptic Now’ to quiet in the span of a few seconds. All that was heard was the sound of rubber burning and a few barking voices and the gentle hum of the vehicles that were parked and running.
She slid across the wall low and peeked out, looking at the scene. Two men stood guard, waiting for the others to return. One was pacing, going back and forth and Teagan holstered her Colt and got reaquainted with her rifle. She knelt, cocked and positioned her aim. She looked down the scope and made a target of the gas tank of the vehicle with one of the goons leaning against the hood. She was patient with this shot and steadily counted down in her head “3…2…1…” and pulled the trigger. Her luck hadn’t run out yet. When the bullet pierced the metal, a spark ignited the gasoline and the street lit up with another fire ball. The boom echoed up the buildings and through the area violently…
The man who had been leaning was blown apart. Pieces of him flew out from the center of the explosion and when a boot landed next to where Teagan was kneeling she shouldered the rifle and exited the alley, crouching low as she rushed along the store fronts. In dismay she saw the other one near the car get up from where he’d been thrown by the blast and she ducked into the nearest shop - the barber shop.
When she entered the bells alerted everyone inside of her presence and the men all turned at once, guns drawn. “Easy fella’s.” she let the words drone out, real sweet like. Hands up in the air before she started reaching for her weapon and when they started firing she leapt sideways behind the counter and got a handle on her gun. She waited for the tell tale click of emptied guns and when they started to reload, she popped up, aimed and fired - hitting one in the neck and another in the shoulder.
