Natasha hadn't originally planned on spending much time in Texas, let alone Austin. It was supposed to just be a place she passed through. But Zhenya had approached her with an idea for a bar, and Natasha wanted to take advantage of the chance to find a stable living space while she worked on finding a cure. It had been tough to work through so far, but she was hopeful.
So when Brannon answered his thoughts on the capitol, she tried to play it off as just basic curiosity. "Just asking," she told him. "I hadn't planned to stay here, but now that I am, I'm just interested in learning about the different shelters and groups. Zhenya, I know, is part of the Dog Park. But besides you, North, and Erik, I haven't had much of an opportunity to see the other groups around here.
