Bishop’s expression could be classified as thoughtful, his gaze shifting from one face to another as they speak. With each question ask he finds himself nodding his head in agreement, knowing that now he doesn’t need to ask them because the last thing Rodeo needs is a whole table full of officers who’re starting to sound like broken records. There’s one thing nobody’s asking though, and Bishop’s fairly certain he’s not the only person at the table who’s getting the sense that something’s being left out. If it’s being omitted, there has to be a reason for that. Doesn’t mean he won’t open the door for Rodeo to clue them all in, if he feels inclined to.
“Is there anything else we should know about this deal before bringing it to a vote?” Bishop asks. “And you know you’ve already got mine, but if your ass lands in La Quinta I’m sending you one hell of a ‘I told you so’ gift basket for thinking we could work with the cops.”
