Savannah's lips pursed together, a small part of her wanting to press for more but most of her content to not go down that road tonight -- not when the wounds were so tender and fresh on a day like today. She used to be braver but the last year had worn her down.
Pausing to look across the room, over at the man in question, she moved her gaze back to Babs and shook her head in disagreement. "You know that ain't true.
