Even with Liz's characteristically dour greeting, Sid had every intention of sharing what remained of the bourbon he'd scrounged up before the rain started. The stash--which had been four bottles--was now down to a bottle and a half, which was probably more than plenty, but with the weather being what it was, no one could really be sure when the next outing might be.
It wasn't that Sid was particularly optimistic about his chances on going out and scavenging any time soon or anything. It was more that he recognized that having a friend--any friend--at the end of the world was not something to be taken lightly. Sure he had his brother. There was nothing more comforting than knowing that he of all people was one of the lucky ones for getting to keep part of his family together in all of this.
But, there was also something to be said for Liz's sarcastic comebacks. Also, being a pretty girl certainly didn't hurt.
That being said, yes. Obviously he was going to share. In fact he hadn't been planning on making it difficult, except that she'd shown up and offered to smell him, and it was certainly difficult to pass that up. Sid affected a frown of consideration and nodded. "Yeah, I'd say that's a fair trade." He put his arms out. "Smell away."
