"Shouldn't that be my line?" Savannah asked, the tension clear in her voice. She hadn't expected him to be so nonchalant about the whole thing. As stupid as it seemed, especially after seeing him with Cherry on the 4th of July, she'd felt like something could have been happening between the two of them. The kissing was definitely nice but the day they'd spent talking had been nice, too. But maybe she'd just been alone for too long after losing Gray that she'd forgotten how to read a person.
