"Uh..." Ruby's freckled nose wrinkled as she made a point to show a quick, confused look around the place. Her hands went to her narrow hips, where her bite-preventing canvas jacket was tied, leaving a threadbare tank and sunburned shoulders bare. The scar tissue on the left one caught the sun like an abstract design drawn in red marker. "Kinda? I guess that's one way to put it."
She looked back to the cop, trying to read her- it was difficult from the distance but the fact that she was female helped calm her nerves. At least, just a little.
"I just got here- Austin, I mean. I didn't really know how to set myself up with some realestate, so ...Yeah." She smile-shrugged at the other woman.
