Nick and Olivia - 12:00PM
Ugh. As much as Olivia wanted to continue on her path of avoidance, the sudden shock of nostalgia that hit her at his offer was too much to ignore. They'd had a couple of those burgers together over the years, especially early on when she'd still been in high school, and it was super annoying how those good times made her feel a teensy bit more amenable to speaking with him.
"Okay, yeah," she said, though she couldn't help the tiny bit of side-eye she gave him as they stepped forward towards the order window. Maizie, who'd already ordered and looked as though she was practically foaming at the mouth as she waited for her food to arrive, waved them on.
As Nick had promised, it didn't take much for them to finagle two custom burgers out of the super cute guy working the grill. But now that they were waiting for their food, facing each other -- Maizie had received part of her order and was having some sort of near-sexual moment with it -- Olivia didn't quite know what to say. "So what's up?" she managed eventually, raising her eyebrows at him.
