Luc had faith that Nathan would live up his expectations in his new position but since it seemed like they were falling an easy working and very likely personal relationship, he couldn't help but rib him a little.
"Yeah well, if you mess up too bad, I won't even fire you. I'll just leave your sister to give you a talking to," he retorted with an exaggerated face. "Answering to the big boss is scary enough that you won't step outta line again."
Luc respected the hell out of Savannah and found that she'd really grown into her role as shelter leader in the wake of Gray's murder. She was tough, fair, and more than capable of keeping the shelter thriving. She was in no way, shape, or form a tyrannical overlord but busting balls was a big part of the security gig; most if not all of his officers and guards were easy to get along with and if Nathan could hang, he'd be set.
"Man, if you wanted tickets to the gun show all you needed to do was come out and say it," Luc said with a fake flex and a laugh. He stood, walked to the door, and held it open for Nathan.
"Come on, partner," Luc urged Nathan. "First stop, gym. After that, we get to work."
